of Mr. KK Rajappan, Kunneparampil by starting a High School at Sreekandeswaram on 1984.
The education complex at Sreekandeswaram is the fulfillment of the foresightedness of Sreenarayana Guru. Under the patronage of Mr K K Rajappan, who was then the President of SNDP Br No: 544, laid the stepping stone for this venture when it started with a High school having a couple of divisions in 1984.
Till then the firm is under continuous development which lead to the commencement of VHSE in 1995, HSST in 1998, B Ed in 2005 with five options and later on in 2010 started an additional malayalam option too.
My profound belief is that every student can learn but teachers are more important than the textbooks. They teach curriculum, they share love and the teacher professional development is critical in assisting every student learning. I am extremely proud and jubilant to be here in this institution to bring its zenith of glory in teacher education.
SNTC Poochakkal can claim that it is situated within the biggest campus in the District of Alappuzha. We are having an education complex from anganvadi to B Ed that runs in separate buildings. The institution is well established with library, Science lab, and a language lab. We also have a canteen that functions in a clean and hygienic environment. We also have separate hostel for boys and girls
My vision of " nation building through education and beyond" is the only intention that lead me to the establishment of this institution here. When the enlighted "sreenarayana guru's'' prediction of an education institution was deeply encarved in my mind,
it was entirely god's will to make me a pioneer in its growth and glory.
I were wish may the institution have all the blessings every moment.
Since from 2005, we start each day with a morning assembly. We usually begin by invoking the muses followed by a thought for the day, presenting quotes from holy books, a quiz, and that which ends with the National Anthem. The best part is despite the Pandemic we follow the same routine in online classes and its a pride to add that we are conducting online yoga classes immediately after the assembly. And this is smoothly conducted till date.
" Climbing to the top demands strength, whether it is to the top of Mount Everest or to the top of yout career". We are so particular in following these words of Dr APJ Abdul kalam that we create here an arena of events and episodes that helps an individual to grow and mature inn all his educational, psycological, and humanitarian aspects.
