The various labs such as Science lab, language lab & computer lab provide opportunities for the student teachers to engage in practical work contributing to self management of knowledge and skill development.
With a view to ensure global competencies in our students, our college has established a digital language lab to help our students develop and refine their communicative skills in English. The lab is equipped with 10 computers with Internet connectivity. The language lab enables individual and group study under the guidance of the instructor. Opportunities for spontaneous as well as directed communication in the target language are provided in the lab. Authentic audio/ visual materials in digital format are used for the purpose. Internet resources for language learning are also utilized for language practice.
In our college, the students are endowed with modern infrastructure and convenient amenities, alongside make learning more interesting. The facilities include well ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, hostel facility for girls and boys, large playground for outdoor games, well stocked library, seamless internet connectivity, medical facilities etc.
A well equipped library with a seating capacity of 50 nos. is functioning in the institution. The student teachers make use of journals, periodicals and reference materials provided in the library to augment their learning process. The total number of books number up to 4149. Around 7 journals/periodicals, educational Cd’s and 5 encyclopedias are available in the library.
The Science laboratory is well equipped with the requisite facilities and equipments with demonstration tables, varieties of microscopes, models, charts and apparatus, required for conducting science practical’s. For conducting theory and practical classes for teaching, separate Physics lab and Chemistry lab is utilized for Physical Science students and separate Botany and Zoology lab is utilized for Natural Science students and this labs can accommodate up to 25 students at a time.
Our college has a CCTV surveillance enabled multipurpose hall (2000 sqft) with 200 seating capacity with a dias for addressing a mass audience. All programmes related to curricular and extracurricular activities are organized in this multipurpose hall.
Our Computer lab is a space which provides computer services to a well extent including practical exams and online MCQ exams with CCTV surveillance. We have a well prepared and fully equipped computer lab with 30 computers with seamless internet facility.
